Molasses Sugar Cookies

Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup shortening 1 egg 1/4 cup molasses (dark or full flavor) 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp cloves 1/2 tsp ginger 2 cups flour Mix dough. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and then roll in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
