Blueberry Maple Bacon Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 8 pieces of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup bacon grease
  • 1 cup blueberries

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400° and grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper liners.  Combine all ingredients and mix until moistened–don’t over-mix.  Spoon into muffin cups and bake for 15-18 minute or until done.
