Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 pastry pie crust
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 TBS flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 6 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 1/4 c. caramel topping(I might put more on)
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans(optional)

Crumb Topping:

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. oats
  • 1/2 c. melted butter

Mix apples, sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Place in pie crust. Mix all ingredients for crumb topping together and smooth over apples. Cover the pie with foil and bake at 375 for 25 minutes and then remove foil. Cook for additional 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle caramel over top of pie.
