Double-Chocolate Chubbies
Ingredients:
- 2 – 1 oz squares unsweetened baking chocolate
- 3/4 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 c butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1/4 c all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/8 t salt
- 2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips (or mint chips)
- 1 – 4 oz white chocolate bar, chopped
- 2 c walnuts, chopped
Combine first three ingredients in a saucepan; cook, stirring often, over low heat until chocolate melts. Remove from heat & cool slightly. Beat eggs & sugar at medium until smooth. Add chocolate mixture, beating well. Combine flour, baking powder & salt. Add to chocolate mixture, stirring until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips, white chocolate & walnuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 325 for 12-15 minutes.
