- 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk
- ½ C Butter
- 1 bag (14 oz) Caramels
- 1 bag (16 oz) Large marshmallows(cut in ½ for smaller portions)
- 1 box (10 oz) Crisp rice cereal
In large pot combine milk, butter & unwrapped caramels. Over Medium heat stir quickly until smooth and melted watch carefully. Remove from the heat. With tongs, dip marshmallows (you can freeze them so they don’t melt too much or cut them in 1/2 to make smaller/more cookies) into hot mixture, then roll in cereal(shallow dish/pan). Place on a wax paper or sprayed foil-lined pan. Let sit about 20 minutes. Remove from wax paper and store in airtight container/bag in refrigerator (I just spread sheets of wax paper on the counter because I make a lot at a time).
