Want buttermilk pancakes, but don’t have any buttermilk available?  No problem!  These pancakes are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and taste wonderful!


  • 2 cups milk w/ 2 t vinegar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1/4 c oil or melted butter

Sour the milk with vinegar and let it set for a couple of minutes. Beat the eggs in with the milk, then stir in the dry ingredients. Add the oil. Serves 3-4.
So easy, and so good!
