Talk about devilish! Unbelievable. I’m not bragging. It’s just the truth.

  • 1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 4 squares (4 oz) unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1 and 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 TBSP water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray or grease bottom of 9×13 baking pan. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well and set aside. Place butter and chocolate in a large bowl. Cook in microwave until they are melted together. Stir frequently to keep from burning. When melted, stir in brown sugar until well blended. Add eggs, water, and vanilla; mix well until blended. Pour into baking pan and cook for 25-28 minutes until center is done. Mix together 1 and 1/3 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp vanilla, and 2-3 TBSP hot water until a glaze forms. Spread over brownies straight out of the oven. Serve brownies while they are still warm.
