Uncle Roy’s Caramel Corn

  • 4-5 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Melt the margarine, then add the sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Cook for 3 minutes and 45 seconds in the microwave. Put the popcorn in a doubled paper grocery bag. Pour the mixture over the popcorn, close the bag, and shake. Then cook for 1.5 minutes more, and stir/shake. Cook an additional 1.5 minutes. Enjoy, but don’t get burned!
